Composition of Fimea’s patient advisory board for the term 2024–2025

Fimea’s management team has confirmed the composition of the patient advisory board for its third term. Fimea received applications from a total of 19 patient and disability organisations, of which 15 were selected for the term 2024–2025. The selection committee emphasised the diversity of the members of the patient advisory board, or patient and disability organisations that represent different diseases and conditions, and the turnover of the members.

Fimea members of the patient advisory board include one representative and their deputy from each of Fimea’s areas of responsibility. The operations of the patient advisory board can be followed through the Fimea website and by subscribing to the newsletter.

The patient advisory board of the third term will convene for the first time in March 2024. The advisory board convenes twice a year. The agendas and materials will be made available in Finnish to the public on the Fimea website.
