Fimea collaborates with patient associations through the patient advisory board and the Medicines Information Network.
Patient advisory board
The aim of Fimea’s patient advisory board is to provide patient perspective to authorities and to establish direct communication between Fimea and patient and disability associations. It aims to promote the transparency of the work of the authorities and raise awareness.
Medicines Information Network
Fimea coordinates the national Medicines Information Network, which also includes representatives of patient associations. The aim of the network is to produce and distribute reliable information on medicines to patients and to support patient involvement in their own medication.
