Reports of breaches in accordance with the act on whistleblower protection

The Act on the Protection of Persons Reporting Infringements of European Union and National Law (1171/2022, Whistleblower Act, not available in English) entered into force on 1 January 2023. The Act implements the European Union Directive on the Protection of Whistleblowers. It aims to provide effective protection for whistleblowers who, in the course of their work, detect breaches of European or national laws.

If you want to use the external reporting channel under the Whistleblower Protection Act, you can use the centralized reporting channel operated by the Chancellor of Justice. Find out how to use the reporting channel on the Chancellor of Justice's  website.

Through the reporting channel, Fimea's current employees, former employees, or various stakeholder groups (trainees, caretaker, temporary workers, consultants, etc.) can securely report breaches in Fimea's operations.
