Safe pharmacotherapy comprises two different areas: pharmaceutical safety and medication safety. Pharmaceutical safety refers to the safety of medicinal products. Medication safety refers to the safety of pharmacotherapy.

Reporting adverse reactions
You can apply for research authorizations for medical devices and performance studies of IVD devices. We are also happy to provide guidance. Read more about investigations with devices and Medical Device Advisory Clinic.
Training offers administrative advice and support for the implementation of clinical trials. You can find the webinars in Fimea's event calendar (in Finnish). The clinical trials division organises training on authorisation and transaction procedures related to clinical trials and also information on any relevant training organised by the European Medicines Agency. For urgent issues, you can get a response via our shared mailbox at clinicaltrials@fimea.fi.
