Use of artificial intelligence at Fimea
Fimea uses artificial intelligence services to support its work. Artificial intelligence, or AI, is used to automate routine tasks, analyse large amounts of data and improve data management, among other purposes. If an AI assistant has had a major role in producing content such as a presentation or document or if an AI system is used in e-services, it is mentioned separately.
The risks associated with the use of AI have been identified, and we have ensured the information security and data protection of the services we use. Data accessed by AI is not disclosed further or used to train general AI models.
Fimea complies with the values of public administration, civil service ethics, legislation and the ethical guidelines of the Ministry of Finance on the use of AI. In addition, Fimea ensures that the use of AI is transparent and responsible and supports the organisation’s strategic objectives and values. The impacts of AI use are continuously monitored, and practices and processes are adjusted as necessary.
