Supervision

Fimea inspects the licensed blood and tissue establishments regularly, at least every two years. The inspections of blood and tissue establishments are subject to a fee in accordance with the Decree on fees chargeable by the Finnish Medicines Agency .

On request, Fimea provides guidance and advice on the application of regulations concerning the operation of blood and tissue establishments.
