Fimea's processing period for special permits is 30 days (Medicines Decree 693/1987 Section 10 a) but express permits are usually processed in 1–2 workdays. If you think it has taken longer than is reasonable, you should turn to the wholesaler or the pharmacy that accepted your application. You can also contact Fimea's Veterinary Officers.

Yes. The signed application is sent by mail to the party releasing the product for consumption, in other words the pharmacy or pharmaceutical wholesaler that accepted your application.

Return the decision for correction to the party releasing the product for consumption (the pharmaceutical wholesaler or pharmacy that accepted your application), which will then forward it to Fimea. If you want to correct the quantity, please present the appropriate grounds for doing so in your own words.

It is best to reply using the channel through which you received the request. In other words, if the wholesaler or pharmacy sent a request by e-mail, you should reply by e-mail. If you find it difficult to answer the question and need further instructions, please consult Fimea's Veterinary Officer responsible for permit processing by telephone or e-mail.
