Johanna Nystedt to lead the supervision and licences department of pharmaceutical operators

PhD, Docent of Advanced Cell Therapy Johanna Nystedt has been appointed Director of Fimea’s supervision and licences department. She will start in her position on 4 February 2019.

Nystedt will move to her new role from her position as the Department Head of the Finnish Red Cross Blood Service, where she was responsible for, amongst other things, the manufacture of cell therapy medicinal products, as well as related research and development.
