Fimea scored highly in the Reputation&Trust survey conducted by the research company T-Media in 2024. Our overall reputation among Finnish citizens had strengthened to reach a good level and the total score on a five-point scale was 3.62. In a comparison carried out by a public administration body, Fimea came twelfth out of the 82 organisations surveyed. The survey was conducted in the period October-November and almost 11 000 Finns participated.

Fimea’s reputation had improved in all areas. The best ratings were for finances, products, services and sustainability. The Agency is seen as financially stable, it delivers good-value products and services, and it acts correctly and responsibly as regards society and the environment. Areas of improvement mentioned were communication with stakeholders, ability to modernise and innovation.

Stakeholder support based on reputation was also at a good level, i.e. Fimea is trusted, its opinions are listened to and people speak favourably of it. The open-ended responses summed it up: ‘Without them, there would be a lot of dangerous drugs on the market’.
