Submitting a NIS2 entity notification via Fimea’s electronic services
NIS2 entity notifications of essential entities and important entities under the Cybersecurity Act that fall within Fimea’s supervisory remit in Finland are submitted via the electronic services portal. In the electronic services portal, you can submit an entity notification, submit notifications of change, and view registered information.
Check the Cybersecurity Act to determine whether you qualify as a NIS2 entity. Inclusion in the NIS2 entity register is determined, for example, based on the size of the company and the sector of activity. As support for the assessment, you can use the Cybersecurity Act assessment tool available on Fimea’s website.
Notifications are submitted at Fimea's e-service.
Authorisations and identification
Use of the service requires a Finnish personal identity code and an identification method, such as:
• online banking codes
• mobile certificate
• an identity card with a chip that enables online transactions.
When acting on behalf of an organisation, you will also need the required Suomi.fi authorisations.
